Easy Tasty Green Beans

I was looking for something a little more exciting than a plain side of steamed green beans.  I came across this very different hummus at the grocery store:


I had already thoroughly enjoyed it in a wrap with some fresh veggies and thought I would give it a try on some chilled steamed beans, basically a really easy green bean salad.   It was delish!


  • 1 lb green beans, ends cut off and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1-8 oz container hummus of choice

Steam the beans until just tender.  Chill in fridge.  Toss with hummus (you might not use the whole container) until adequately covered.  Refrigerate until eating.  Enjoy!
