Danny’s Vinaigrette

Some of my husband’s family refers to this dressing as “Danny’s Dressing,” but if you ask him, it actually came from his grandmother Judy and he calls it “Judy’s Dressing.”  (Makes me wonder what Judy says about it!)  I had the pleasure of eating it recently at his cousin’s house, where she already had a bottle of it prepared in the refrigerator.

To make a batch:

  • 3/4 cup Olive Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 2 large Garlic cloves
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper

To make enough for one meal:

  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1.5 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 small Garlic clove
  • Dash of Pepper
